Project Title: Civic Responsible Module in School Art Camp
Brief:
Civic Responsible Module in School Art Camp is a module consists of information about civic responsibility in art. It is inspired by the issue of derelict artworks at 'Bakat Muda Sezaman' shows in the National Art Gallery, Kuala Lumpur last year. This incident was happened because of the lack of public ethics, manners, appreciation, and understanding the value of art. In this project, the module created to educate the public on the value of art. This module contains topics that touch on civics and responsibility, rules, manners, conduct on the artwork, and in the art gallery. The module focuses on a wider range of society and especially among students, art teachers, and art curators.
Key Issues: Lacking exposure in awareness of civic responsibility toward the education of visual art
